Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaains!

Formerly: "Things Which I Should Be Doing That I am Not". They are:

  • Studying for Monday's test on aphasia cliassification ("Pop quiz, hot shot. Which type of aphasic syndrome is characterized by preserved auditory comprehension, non-fluent speech and severely impaired repetition?")

  • Writing a proposal on measuring syllable complexity in verbal fluency tests of Parkinson's patients. Nearly a week overdue now. Woo! Livin' la vida NIH.

  • Translating French historical literature on aphasia. Although to be fair, that was kind of sprung on me Monday morning.

  • Working on my own historical aphasia article, which does not involve the French. Much.

  • Studying my copy of the test manual for the Western Aphasia Battery. Mainly because I haven't yet made a copy of said manual. (Does anyone notice a theme here? My life is being consumed by injured brain language. It's a riff on zombies heretofore undiscovered. Speaking of which,)

  • Writing my fabulous and earth-shattering treatise on Manifest Destiny and the zombie myths. The truth must be told!

  • Hey, are taxes due soon?

  • Calling my dad and sister.

  • Finishing the knit bunny suits. Gah. Last weekend I was looking forward to finishing the first one right up, except that I did the ears late on Friday night, after two martinis. Consequently, I did them on the inside of the hood. Yes I have to pick them out completely and start again, which has dimmed my enthusiasm for the whole endeavor. Call me when the children graduate.

Although in my defense, I have worked an insane amount of hours this week. With brains. No wonder I watch so many zombie movies.
